Law and Gospel
It is critical that we understand law and Gospel. Getting it wrong will lead to self-righteousness or despair, and sadly from many pulpits the proper application of law and Gospel has been lost. Dr. Michael Horton has an excellent article at the White Horse Inn that explains this clearly.
